- Hackathon & Project Submissions: Project titles, descriptions, repository links, video/demo links, team rosters, and submitted technical artifacts.
- Organizer & Club Inquiries: Organization name, coordinator details, event proposals, and contact communications.
- Technical & Usage Data: Session logs, IP address, device browser type, and interaction metrics to maintain security and platform uptime.
2. How We Use Your Information
We utilize the information collected for legitimate operational, academic, and event management purposes:
- Facilitating seamless hackathon, technical challenge, and event registrations.
- Enabling team formation, member invitations, and collaborative submissions.
- Providing project submissions to authorized evaluators, mentors, and judges.

- Public Certificate Verification: Certificate verification records (recipient name, event name, award rank, and date) are accessible publicly via unique QR codes or certificate IDs to verify authenticity.

We enforce industry-standard security safeguards to protect your personal data:
- All passwords are encrypted with strong cryptographic salted hashing algorithms (e.g. Bcrypt/Werkzeug SHA-256).
- Password reset tokens are single-use, cryptographically generated, and automatically expire within 30 minutes.
- Administrative and organizer endpoints are guarded by strict role-based access control (RBAC).
- All data transmissions are protected via SSL/TLS encryption.
